BSARCS works with people who have experienced sexual violence at any time in their lives; we work with people who have reported to the police and those who wish to maintain their confidentiality.   Due to a substantial increase in demand for services, we are expanding our team and are looking for:

3 x Independent Advocates£25,440 – £27,123 (pro-rata)

Posts available for 24 – 37 hours per week

Fixed term initially to March 2021 subject to further funding

to support adults with the impact of sexual violence and to offer support through the justice process when required.   Advocates ensure that people have greater control over their lives and that their sense of wellbeing is improved.

People with a background in working with vulnerable people, social care, trauma or mental health support would be particularly suited to this role.
