Live Chat

19th May 20 | Back to blog

BSARCS has launched a new service – LIVECHAT.  We are reaching out to those of you who may be struggling with the impact of sexual harm, rape, sexual assault, previous childhood sexual abuse and who may be feeling isolated during this lockdown period.

LIVECHAT is for people who haven’t used BSARCS and who don’t have a worker from our team.

You can access LIVECHAT on our website www.bsarcs.org.uk where you can type your questions or issues to get a fast written response. When there is an open session go to our website and a chat icon will appear, click this and start chatting.

The service is confidential and replies are from specialist staff who have worked with all areas of sexual harm.   You might want to ask about consent, about why you might have reacted as you did, sleep, anxiety, anger, fear and upset. Whatever you want to raise, there is no such thing as a stupid question.  This is our specialist area of work, please be assured that we are able to listen, respond and support you with your questions, issues or concerns.

You can also use LIVECHAT to ask about our services, how to refer and what happens when you make the difficult decision to seek help, speak out and break the silence.

Our LIVECHAT will be initially open on Mondays (Except Bank Holidays) from 2pm – 4pm and on Wednesdays and Fridays from 10am – 12 noon although it is expected that these hours will be expanded in the near future.

For support outside of these times you can email us at info@bsarcs.org or call us on 01226 320140.
