Training Cancellation Policy

Our courses are currently free to individuals who deliver services in Barnsley.

5 of our courses are CPD Accredited which you can add to your training and learning log.

All of our courses have an upper limit in relation to participants we currently have a maximum of 15 trainees on our zoom courses and 12 for our face to face training. Our courses are popular and usually fill fairly quickly.

Unfortunately, there are occasions when people book a place and do not turn up on the day, this impacts the learning for others and is frustrating for our trainers who are providing time, knowledge, skill and energy to deliver a positive learning experience.

We are therefore introducing a cancellation policy.

Anyone who books a place on one of our courses and fails to alert us that they are unable to attend will be charged a cancellation fee.

Failure to cancel your place (48 hours prior to the scheduled training date) or attend our zoom courses will incur a charge of £25

Failure to cancel your place (48 hours prior to the scheduled training date) face to face courses will incur a charge of £50.

If you cancel prior to 48 hours we will not charge however it would be really helpful if you know you are going to have a difficulty with a date if you let us know as soon as possible to give us an opportunity to offer your place to someone else.

As a charity we can only offer this training at no cost because of our funders, our funders will only continue to support our service delivery if we can evidence need and participation. For this reason it is important to us that our courses are well attended.
