What do we mean by sexual violence?

Sexual violence means any sexual activity or act that happened without consent as an adult or as a child, recently or years ago.

It can include rape, sexual assault, sexual abuse, and sexual harassment. Other types include indecent exposure and cyber flashing and sexual exploitation.

This is not a complete list. It’s okay to be confused and you don’t have to have all the words yet. If something sexual happened to you that didn’t feel right or good, we are here to support you.
