Wellbeing Support

If you decide that you don’t want to make a formal complaint to the police after you have given your initial statement, but are struggling with what has happened to you, then we can still support you. We can help you manage anything unpleasant that you are experiencing which has been caused by sexual harm. This might include struggling to understand and manage your feelings, anxiety, difficulties sleeping and problems within your relationships. If we offer you wellbeing support, then we will work with you to undertake an assessment of your needs and find out what you’re struggling with so we know how best to help you. We can offer wellbeing support wherever feels comfortable for you. This could be in our specialist rooms at BSARCS, in school, college at home or in the community.
