Face to Face
The course looks at signs sexual harm may be occurring, how to respond to those signs and finally addresses the approach which will support more positive outcomes for children. We ask attendees to have completed our Dealing with Disclosure of sexual abuse training prior to attending this session, as this session builds on the existing conversations from this training course.
The aims:
- Recognise signs which might indicate sexual harm is occurring
- Develop confidence in responding to signs
- Understand the importance of being professionally curious
- Learn about a range of trauma informed approaches to support individual children and young people with the impact of sexual harm
This session is limited to 12 participants. The session will be held at BSARCS’ office and details will be sent to attendees prior to the event.
