Cervical Screening Awareness Week is an annual event which will run from 15th to 21st June 2019. The week aims to highlight the importance of regular cervical screening for women’s health.
Cervical cancer is the most common form of cancer in women under 35 with two women in the UK per day dying from the disease.
Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust is the UK’s leading cervical cancer charity. They are here for everyone who needs us, for as long as they need us but we won’t stop until the day that cervical cancer is no more. Cervical cancer can be devastating but they’re there to reduce the impact. They provide trustworthy information, campaign for change and provide support at every step.
This trust has worked closely with Rape Crisis England and Wales and has put together a information page on cervical screening after sexual violence which can be found here.
